Salomão and Luisinho are the only casualties for Fernando Vázquez, while the coach awaits the arrival of Diego Ifrán. Meanwhile, the rival is recovering Dongou, one of their main attackers on this season.

Ahead of the game against Barcelona B (Riazor, Saturday, 20h00 CET), coach Fernando Vázquez is still having nineteen players available for the matches. Winger Diogo Salomão was operated last Friday and won’t return for now to A Coruña, while full-back Luisinho is serving the second of his four matches of suspension. The club presented an appeal to reduce the ban and will have a response today.

On Wednesday the club announced that Diego Ifrán has been hired in order to replace Salomão , but the Uruguayan striker arrives to A Coruña until Thursday and it isn’t probable that he will be included in the list for Saturday’s meeting.

About the trainings on this week, the sessions have been intense, with a lot of physical work mixed with tactical sessions in which the coach has tested different draws. There are no more injury concerns at the team. Centre-back Carlos Marchena and keeper German Lux reduced the pace on Tuesday, which is normal taking in mind that both men were injured recently.

Once again there were only four Fabril’s players training with the first team. Keepers Marc Martinez and David Gómez continued to work with goalkeepers’ trainer Manu Sotelo, while winger Álvaro Lemos and playmaker Bicho were under the supervision of Fernando Vázquez, though it isn’t expected that they will join Fabril on Saturday in order to play with the B squad on Sunday.

At Barcelona B, coach Eusebio Sacristán is boosted for the return of attacker Jean Marie Dongou, the Cameroonian is one of the most used players up front and missed the last game against SD Ponferradina due to a suspension. The B squad of Barcelona has won the last two games and are now only two points below the promotion seats.

Full-back Lucas Gafarot is also available after receiving the medical okay to play on last week. The Catalan left-back wasn’t part of the list of picked players for the last game in liga. The two confirmed casualties for the game are right-back Sergio Juste and centre midfielder Javier Espinosa. The first suffered a knee ligaments injury during a training session at the beginning of January. He will be off until next season. The second sustained a knee sprain during the game against SD Ponferradina and is out for three weeks.
