Fernando Vázquez recovers Marchena, while Luisinho is serving the last of his four-match suspension. The rival arrives to the Riazor having three casualties, but living its best moment on the Segunda campaign.

Unusual week at Deportivo ahead of the meeting against CD Tenerife (Riazor, Saturday, 21h00 CET). The weather conditions (wind and cold) moved the coaching staff to reschedule the training sessions for the afternoon. In this way the first team trained on Tuesday and Wednesday at 17h30 (CET).

The main news is that centre-back Carlos Marchena is fit to play after skipping the last game at Real Zaragoza due to an ankle injury. He joined the trainings on Tuesday and raised the number of available players to nineteen, which means that someone will be ruled out of Saturday’s game, though the presence of attacker Javier Arizmendi isn’t confirmed as he skipped Wednesday’s session (migraine).

Coach Fernando Vázquez is having three confirmed casualties for the meeting. Winger Diogo Salomão is out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury, striker Toché remains sidelined with a pulled muscle and left-back Luisinho is serving the last of his four-match suspension.

Goalkeeper German Lux didn’t complete Tuesday’s session as a preventative measure after the aggression suffered by the goalie in the past game against Real Zaragoza (shoulder problem). In any case the Argentine man should be available for Saturday.

The only two Fabril’s players that trained with the first team during the week were winger Álvaro Lemos and keeper Marc Martinez. Playmaker Bicho is out with a muscle problem and has skipped the trainings

CD Tenerife arrive to the meeting living their best moment on the season: after been in relegation positions at the start they are now in a promotion playoff spot (7th but taking advantage that Barca B are 6th). Coach Álvaro Cervera had the goal of the permanence at the beginning of the season, but now can aspire to Primera División due to the equal competition in the league.

For the visit to the Riazor the coach has one important casualty as centre midfielder Aitor Sanz is suspended after picking a fifth yellow card on the season during the 5-0 win over SD Ponferradina. He’s the 7th player at the team with more minutes on the season (1,936).

There are other two casualties at the team due to injury reasons. The main one is left-back Raul Cámara, who’s out until April due to a pulled muscle. It means that ex-Depor Ayoze Díaz will be a starter against his former team as there are only two full-backs available at the squad. The other injured man is third keeper Nauzet García. The 19-year-old lad is out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury.
