Fernando Vázquez could repeat a lineup for the second time on this year, though it will depend on the fitness of Diego Ifrán. The system with only one centre midfielder has brought results within the last two games.

Deportivo have played 16 games in 2014 and coach Fernando Vázquez has only repeated the lineup in consecutive matches during one opportunity. It was a 4-2-3-1 figure for the games against Real Zaragoza and CD Tenerife (matchdays 31 & 32).

Neither the coach was used to repeat the starting eleven in the rest of the season, because in the games played in 2013 El Profesor was only able to repeat the team for the games against RCD Mallorca, SD Ponferradina and CD Lugo (matchdays 14, 15 & 16).

The 4-2-3-1 has always prevailed with Vázquez, but now he could repeat the 4-1-4-1 scheme that left a positive feeling for the meetings against Recreativo de Huelva and RCD Mallorca, although it will depend on the fitness of striker Diego Ifrán, who is dragging a muscle problem. He will undergo a test on Friday in order to know if he will be fit to play.

For the game against Recreativo de Huelva the central attacker was Borja Bastón and Ifrán made his first appearance as a starter against RCD Mallorca, it was the only modification between the last two lineups. If Vázquez decides that the Uruguayan should return to the bench, then he will have other two options with Toché and Luis Fernández.

The rest of the team should be the same, with Juan Dominguez performing as the lonely centre midfielder and with a line of two playmakers composed by Juan Carlos Real and Bryan Rabello. Luisinho is fit to play and is set to start on the left wing, while Ibrahim Sissoko would stay playing on the right flank.

On Thursday, Vázquez tested the line of four defenders that played the last two games, but also tested with five defenders including the presence of Carlos Marchena joining Pablo Insua and Albert Lopo at the centre of the defense, while Luisinho performed as the left-back defender.
