ACU?A IS STILL WAITING FOR A SOLUTION

13 Sep 2006
The case with 'Toro' Acu?a seems to be endless. He still training with the team although Caparr??s discarded him a few months ago. The disagreement between both parties was the amount in order to cancel his contract, now the problem is based in the terms of the payment. Meanwhile, Scaloni has signed for Racing and Trist??n for Mallorca.

It was previously reported that Deportivo and Roberto Acu?a were discussing the terms in order to cancel the Paraguayan's contract. Acu?a was wishing to recollect €2 million while Depor was arguing that the net payment should be €1 million. It seems that both parties haven't reached an agreement, and now the problems is bigger since Acu?a wants to receive his money in a single payment while Depor want to fulfil the obligation in three years.

Acu?a himself explained his situation to the reporters: "If they want me to leave, they should respect my contract. To pay me in three years is not serious. We have to talk in a proper way. If we solve this thing with a positive attitude, it will be perfect. If not, my lawyer will have to do something: I don't want to reach that point, because I am not stealing anybody nor I want to receive more than I deserve."

The Paraguayan midfielder also complained about the way in which Depor has handled the case: "We didn't reach an agreement, the club was proposing an amount for the year left in my contract, but they wanted to pay me in 36 months. I don't accept that. It isn't a big contract and the payment can't be delayed in a long period like that one."

TRISTAN TO MALLORCA, SCALONI TO RACING
Diego Trist??n and Lionel Scaloni have found their destiny. Both players canceled their contracts on the first days of September. Now, they already have a club. Trist??n agreed to play for Mallorca during the present season, he will earn €400,000 (the fourth part of his salary at Depor). Meanwhile, Scaloni has reached an agreement with Racing Santander, the Argentinean signed a one-year contract and his payment will depend of the objectives achieved.
