The first team returns to train on next week; there won’t be a stage in Monforte de Lemos. For now only one game in South America has been confirmed. Depor will play 8 or 9 games during the pre-season.

The pre-season 2014/15 isn’t totally defined yet, but the major part of it is done. It is changing due to the compromises with the LFP World Challenge. At the beginning the club was expecting to complete a stage in Monforte de Lemos, just like last season, but the trip to South America changed the plans.

Now the idea is to only play a game at the A Pingüela stadium in Lemos; for now the club is expecting to know if there will be more games as part of the South American tour before scheduling that match. The rest of the calendar is done.

The first team returns to train on next Monday; the players will train at Abegondo only four three or four days, because later they have to travel to Argentina in order to face the first friendly match of the pre-season against Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata; ‘El Lobo’ already began the pre-season as they debut in the local league on August 03.

A second game in South America is expected, but for now the LFP hasn’t announced it yet. Depending on that game the team will return to Galicia in order to play in Lemos, then it will go out again in order to play a couple of matches in Portugal.

Those meetings will be followed by the Teresa Herrera tournament and the Galician derby against RC Celta. The final game before debuting at Primera seems to be a visit to SD Ponferradina, a short trip that should close the pre-season.

The current calendar for the pre-season:
July 20: Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata (Ciudad de La Plata stadium)
July 31: At Académica de Coimbra (Efapel stadium)
Aug 01: At Sporting Braga (Axa stadium)
Aug 09/10: Teresa Herrera trophy
Aug 13: Vs. RC Celta (stadium to be decided)
Aug 16: At SD Ponferradina (20h00 CET, El Toralín)
