There were rumours last week about the possible exit of Juan Carlos as clubs like Valladolid were interested in him, but the player wants to stay and did a very good game against Independiente de Santa Fé.

Deportivo are preparing big changes at the first team ahead of the new season, and these changes will lead to allow exits from the current first team. Among the players that have pointed are Juan Carlos Real. The playmaker was going in and out from the lineups on last season, though it was his first complete campaign at the first squad.

The 23-year-old playmaker has called the attention of several clubs and one of them is Real Valladolid, team that will compete at Segunda during next season. He’s ending contract in 2015 and it means that his exit could be definitive.

However the player wants to stay, as he stated before going to Colombia, ”I’m a player of Deportivo and my goal is to stay. There’s a new coach and my goal is to convince him, later he and the club will decide, but for now nobody has told me anything. I appreciate the interest of other teams, but I still have one more year in my contract and for now I must fix my situation on here. We are in July and things are starting to move, but don’t know anything else.”

In the meantime Juan Carlos was the best player during the first friendly game in Colombia; at the Campín stadium Depor showed the same lack of ideas in attack compared to last season, but the Galician player was the one that had the better criterion at the moment of moving the ball. He also completed one of the two shots in target in the match. New coach Víctor Fernández is the one having the last word about his continuity.
