Fabricio, Manuel Pablo, Seoane, Juan Carlos, Salomão and Lucas Pérez haven’t debuted yet on this season. Deportivo have only used nineteen players after seven league matchdays, it’s the second lowest number at Primera División.

With the game already decided, Cezary Wilk replaced José Rodríguez at minute 63 of the visit to Sevilla CF. Those were the first minutes of the Polish midfielder during this league season. Before that moment, coach Víctor Fernández had only used eighteen players during the league tournament.

At the end of September and despite playing four games in only thirteen days, plus the fact that the coach announced changes for the period, the true is that he has barely made modifications in this start of season. Víctor even repeated the lineup in the games against RC Celta and UD Almeria, this no matter that only five days separated both meetings.

The nineteen players used by Deportivo after the first seven matchdays represent the second lowest mark in the league –tied with SD Eibar, Real Sociedad and Elche CF- and only above the mark of RC Celta, the Galician neighbors have only used eighteen players so far.

In this way six players are still searching for their first minutes at Deportivo: goalkeeper Fabricio Agosto, right-back defenders Manuel Pablo and Diego Seoane, winger Diogo Salomão, plus playmakers Juan Carlos Real and Lucas Pérez.

Cezary Wilk was the 19th player that debuted on this season

Only two men haven’t been able to debut due to injury reasons: Salomão and Lucas Pérez. The first will be allowed to play until November and the latter was picked for the first time during the visit to Sevilla CF.

Other two men haven’t debuted yet as they were ruled out by the coach due to tactical reasons: Juan Carlos and Seoane. It’s expected that both could leave during the winter window. Then the cases of Manuel Pablo and Fabricio, duo that hasn’t played yet because Víctor considers that German Lux and Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’ are fixed starters.

Actually, both Lux and Laure are the only players at the team that have bene starters in the seven matches played so far. And in the case of the Argentine goalie he’s one of the 37 players at Primera División that have disputed all the possible minutes.

Finally, there are other four players that have participated in all the league games played so far, left-back Luisinho and centre midfielder Haris Medunjanin have been starters in six opportunities and later entered as substitutes in one opportunity, then midfielder Álex Bergantiños had five presences at the starting eleven and two as a replacement, finally attacker Iván Cavaleiro completes the list despite only playing twice as a starter, this since he was a substitute in the other five meetings.
