Sidnei will be available for Saturday’s derby together with José Rodriguez and Insua, but Salomão, Laure, Postiga and Toché are out. Celta are having a couple of casualties for the game, but the normal starting eleven is intact.

Mixed news for coach Víctor Fernández during the week of the Galician derby. First to all he’s recovering centre-back Pablo Insua and centre midfielder José Rodríguez, the first one is returning from suspension while the second is available after skipping the match with Real Madrid for been his parent club.

Centre-back Sidnei Rechel is also back. The Brazilian missed the last two games with a Soleus injury and will receive the medical okay to play in Thursday. He joined the trainings on Tuesday and will be a boost for the defence. Goalkeeper German Lux was already fine on Monday from the flu that prevented him to travel to the Bernabéu. These four players represent the good news.

But there are bad news too, playmaker Luis Fariña is still working apart and is probable that he will miss Saturday’s derby. The Argentine man is trying to run out his options for the game and his wound on the right foot is evolving. He hasn’t been ruled out of the game, but will hardly be available. His condition will be assessed at the end of the week.

Then, there are already four players ruled out from Saturday’s meeting. Right-back Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’, who is suspended with five yellow cards, plus three injured men: strikers Toché and Hélder Postiga, plus winger Diogo Salomão

The latest scans determined that the Murcian attacker suffered a hamstring strain on his right leg during last Friday's training, so he’s out for four or five weeks. In the case of the Portuguese attacker, he has evolved positively from his lumbago surgery, but Saturday would be too soon to see him playing again. Finally, in the case of Salomão, he has been training at the gym all week long after sustaining a Soleus muscle injury at the end of last week.
