Víctor Fernández will at least make two changes ahead of the visit to UD Almeria. Fariña was tested as a possible starter, but it isn’t clear if the Argentine man will have minutes in the game.

Coach Víctor Fernández seems now comfortable with the 4-2-3-1 figure. In 2015 he has used this formation in seven of the eight matches disputed in liga. He only switched to the 4-3-3 for the home meeting against FC Barcelona. However he has barely repeated the same team due to suspensions and injuries.

And the situation will be the same for the visit to UD Almeria, because the coach will make at least two changes at the lineup. One of them is a forced one as Albert Lopo is suspended and his spot at the centre of the defence will be for Pablo Insua.

The other novelty will be the return of Isaac Cuenca. The Catalan will play again at the right wing after been a starter in the previous two games to the derby. He will be taking the spot of José Rodriguez.

Also, there’s the chance of a third modification as Luis Fariña was tested on the left wing replacing Cavaleiro, but this change is uncertain. First to all because the Portuguese is a fixed starter for Víctor and will hardly be dropped. The second reason is that the Argentine man is just returning from an injury and doesn’t seems fit to play, at least as a starter.

There’s expectation to see the combination between Cuenca, Lucas Pérez and Fariña. The trident has only played together twice on this season, the first opportunity was for the biggest win on the season hosting Valencia CF (matchday 08) and later for the first 18 minutes visiting RCD Espanyol (matchday 09).

The rest of the team should be the same of the derby, including the presence of Oriol Riera. The Catalan attacker is the only natural forward available for the coach. Toché will be out for two more weeks, while on Friday the club informed that Postiga will need a new surgery as his lumbago injury hasn’t headed. So, he will be sidelined for one more month.
