New victory for Deportivo B, this time led by Álex Pérez, who scored the first goal, hit the post and later created the play of the second. One of the easiest games on the season as the rival didn’t give problems.

Striker Dani Iglesias and left-back Jorge Fernández remained out injured. Coach Manu Mosquera repeated the lineup that conquered the impressing victory visiting Ribadumia during the previous week.

The draw was a 4-2-3-1. David Gómez was the goalkeeper, Adrián Martínez performed on the left side of the defense, Toni Insua played on the right, the centre-backs were Iago López and Róber. Sam Piette and Álvaro Queijeiro were the centre midfielders, Ángel Fernández was performing on the right wing, Miguel Cardoso was the left winger, Marcos Remeseiro was the playmaker and Álex Pérez was the centre forward.

The rival was Club Xuventude Sanxexo, a team dragging a terrible mark of nine straight defeats and that was now at the edge of relegation. Coach Calucho was debuting with the team after Ángel Oliveira was fired at the beginning of the previous week.

Easy win for Deportivo B, Sanxenxo arrived in the middle of a crisis after suffering nine straight defeats and it was noticed at Abegondo as they never represented any harm to keeper David Gómez. Fabril dominated the game from start to finish, though they missed to create more scoring opportunities.

With Dani Iglesias out injured, the responsibility of the goals was on the shoulders of Remeseiro and Cardoso, duo that scored a hat-trick in separate games within the last three weeks, but in the end the one that shone in attack was Álex Pérez.

The 22-year-old striker started the season injured and was completing his second appearance as a starter and he seized the opportunity been involved in the two goals in the game. The first arrived after only fourteen minutes. After a corner-kick, Queijeiro assisted Toni Insua, who released a high and precise cross from the right and Pérez headed the ball in from close range. It’s his second goal on this season and also only the second headed goal for Fabril on this season.

The goal brought tranquility to a Fabril that continued to have the ball possession, though it had problems to materialize the chances in goals. The clearest opportunity before half-time was a long-distance shot of Álex Pérez that hit the crossbar (44’).

Pérez and a double chance for Cardoso were the other shots on target competed by Fabril before ending the first half. Another goal opportunity to have in mind was a long-distance shot by Sam Piette that passed close to the crossbar (29’).

Nothing changed for the second part, Depor B had the initiative and continued to lack punch to capitalize the opportunities. The entry of Cañi for Ángel brought some freshness in offense and the winger was going to score the second goal in the meeting.

Once again Álex Pérez was involved, he collected a pass from Iago López and, despite been backwards the goal, made a quick and perfect pass that left Adrián Martínez alone before visiting goalie Álex Vila, then Fabril´s captain just assisted Cañi, who scored from the left corner of the box. It’s the third goal on the season for the As Pontes-born player.

Álex Pérez was the factor that decided this meeting, but Álvaro Queijeiro also completed a great presentation. This was his third appearance as a starter after his long-term injury and controlled midfield territory bringing balance to the team.

During the final twenty minutes Deportivo B just spent the time administrating the advantage and never suffered before a rival that was already defeated. Manu Mosquera used this frame on the meeting to bring the last two substitutions as Massampu and Taboada replaced Álex Pérez and Sam Piette.

Álex Pérez participated in both goals to conquer one of the more peaceful victories on the season. The good news for Fabril is that SD Órdenes lost and now there’s a six-point gap with the fifth place with only ten games remaining in the schedule. The next game is the visit to Racing Club Villalbés, team that has only picked one of the last nine points in dispute and that only won twice in 2015.
