Caparr??s and the players are satisfied with the final result, although the victory was more near than ever. Arizmendi even appointed that the draw was the fairest possible result. Meanwhile, Javier Irureta didn't want to admit that his team is living in the relegation zone.

Coach Joaqu?n Caparr??s is satisfied with the game of Deportivo, but he emphasised that his team lost the opportunity to achieve a better result: "I am very happy with our players. We enjoyed of occasions, Betis too, we scored a goal, they equalised the game... it was a nice match. But it was a shame too, because both squads had ten men when we were wining the game, and we missed some tranquility. The team was trying to lose time and that's a bad thing. We took the lead during the second half, but later we needed more calm, to pass the ball and control the game."

But Depor's coach also expects to see a similar behaviour in the next games of his squad: "We have gave a new step in order to see our players growing. This is the line that we are wanting to see and the team knew how to play in a difficult stadium like the Ruiz de Lopera, this public puts a lot of pressure on you."

Fabi??n Estoyanoff had the chance to double the lead one minute after his entrance, but he failed the one-on-one action against goalkeeper Doblas. The Uruguayan winger felt sorry for it: "It was a shame because I didn't knew how to take advantage of it. At least the squad was very concentrated and the important thing is that the team is playing really well at this point."

Albert Lopo was the protagonist with his handball, an action that cost two points to the Galicians. The Catalan defender explained the play to the reporters: "I don't know why I put my hand over there, I was just trying to protect me, it's an instinctive action in which the ball hit my hand. It's a shame since we lost two points. I am very frustrated and my team mates too."

Meanwhile, Filipe Luis said that he doesn't understand the reason why the referee showed a second yellow card to him: "I am very sad for this sanction, I think that it isn't fair. At the end it wasn't possible to me to help the squad to achieve the win, and I left the team with ten men during the second half. I didn't understand the decision of the referee. Before to that play, I tried to avoid the foul during the counterattack, because I didn't want to be expelled. And when I saw the second card, I was very sad." The Brazilian said at the end that he hopes to see the club protesting the sanction in la liga.

Antonio Barrag??n was replaced at half-time, he faced a  lot of troubles during the first half, and Caparr??s opted for the experience of Manuel Pablo. And the youngster admitted that he was making a bad job: "Talking about the individual aspect, it was a game to be forgotten. I made an ugly game."

Dudu Aouate made a couple of saves, but he wasn't capable of stopping the last-minute shot from the penalty-spot. However, the Israeli keeper is satisfied with the result: "It's good to achieve a draw away from your stadium, although we were wining until the last play, it was just bad luck. We defended and played very well during the encounter, Estoyanoff even had a clear occasion to dictate sentence. But it wasn't possible."

Javier Arizmendi scored a magnificent goal in this match, the Madrilian striker believes that the draw was the fairest result: "The draw is fair, it could be painful to say it, but it was like that. They enjoyed a lot of occasions. We are hurt since we were seeing the club with 13 points, but 11 isn't a bad number either."

Fabricio Coloccini made a good job in this match, he was partially responsible for the defensive tasks in midfield. The Argentinean was also satisfied with the final result: "Although they find the draw in the final minute, we are satisfied with the point."

Enrique Romero gave also his opinion of this match. Like Arizmendi, the ex-Depor defender thinks that the draw was the fairest result: "The defeat would be a hard thing for us since the situation in the table is complicated. Deportivo's victory wouldn't be fair because we did enough merits to obtain a point."

Javier Irureta said that the last-minute goal had a special taste for him: "It was like glory. We only achieved a draw, but at least the will of the players never disappeared, we had the capacity to react." Jabo was very philosophic and didn't want to say that the result was fair: "A fair result in football can't be dictated by the occasions to score. Betis had three, four, five or six chances and we couldn't score the goals." Finally Irureta didn't want to admit that his team is in the relegation zone: "We aren't relegated yet, that thing happens on matchday 38 and we still in the 7th one."
