MATCHDAY 32: NO REACTION

The bottom clubs continue to miss the victory. Depor are in relegation for the first time in 2015. Barcelona and Real Madrid still battling for the title, while the fight for the sixth place has been reactivated.

The battle for the title at Primera División continue as FC Barcelona and Real Madrid won their games on the weekend. The difference between both clubs remains to be two points. The Catalans suffered to defeat fourth place Valencia CF at the Camp Nou (2-0), while the Madrilenians also suffered to beat Málaga CF at the Bernabéu (3-1).

Atlético Madrid are the big winner of the weekend as they increased the difference at the third place. Los Cochoneros defeated Deportivo at the Riazor (1-2) and have now a four-point gap with the fourth place seizing the defeat of Valencia CF. Besides, Sevilla CF could only get a draw visiting Granada CF (1-1) and remain fifth.

Villarreal CF are living their worst moment on the season, the yellow submarine could only get a goalless draw hosting bottom place Córdoba CF and have now spent six straight matchdays without winning. Their fall is now giving chances to other clubs about reaching the sixth position at the standings, the last spot for European football on next season.

More specifically three clubs are now having European draws. Athletic Club, side that trashed Getafe CF at San Mamés (4-0), RCD Espanyol, though the Catalans only got a 2-2 draw visiting relegation-troubled Levante UD, and RC Celta, the Galicians got a golden victory visiting D Eibar (0-1).

The season is getting to the end, but the bottom clubs aren’t reacting. In this matchday the last five positions missed the victory, which invites to think that less than 40 points will be needed in order to clinch the permanence. The main news is that Deportivo are in relegation for the first time in 2015. Levante UD left the pit thanks to their draw with RCD Espanyol, while UD Almeria are tied in points with the Galicians after their defeat visiting Rayo Vallecano (2-0).

Elche CF were the main winners I the fight for survival. Their important 1-0 win hosting Real Sociedad pulled them to the 14th position, six points above the pit. Up to seven teams are battling to avoid relegation, Córdoba CF are in the worst situation as, despite their meritorious draw visiting Villarreal CF, they remain eight points below the salvation with only eighteen points in dispute.

MATCHDAY 33 & 34: INTENSE WEEK IN LA LIGA
Another intense week in the Spanish La Liga as the half of the remaining six matchdays will be disputed in a frame of eleven days. The title and two of the three spots in relegation could be defined in this period.

The Catalan derby RCD Espanyol Vs. FC Barcelona and the visit of Real Madrid to RC Celta are the most important games in matchday 33 with Depor visiting Málaga CF. The other games are: Córdoba CF Vs. Athletic Club; Atlético Madrid Vs. Elche CF, Getafe CF Vs. Levante UD, Real Sociedad Vs. Villarreal CF, UD Almeria Vs. SD Eibar, Sevilla CF Vs. Rayo Vallecano & Valencia CF Vs. Granada CF.

In matchday 34, which will be disputed in midweek, the most interesting game is the visit of Atlético Madrid to Villarreal CF, while Depor pay a visit to direct rival Elche CF.
