PENDING OF THE EXITS

05 Aug 2015
Fayçal Faj & Lucas should be the next signings of Depor; little by little coach Víctor Sánchez is fulfilling all the available spots, to the point that soon the club will start to allow the exit of some men.

Two and a half weeks before the debut in liga and coach Víctor Sánchez already has the major part of the players that will face the regular season. Right now he has 24 players at the first team, number that will be increased to 26 with the arrival of Fayçal Faj expected for Wednesday and the one of Lucas Pérez for the end of the week.

Deportivo can even try to make more signings as one winger and one more centre forward are expected to arrive before deadline day. So, with the coach saying that he wants a team of 22/23 players, the club is now interested in defining the men that won’t continue at the squad.

It means that between three and six players will leave in the coming two weeks. Diego Seoane was the first man to leave and the next candidate is centre midfielder Sergio Teles. The Portuguese skipped Tuesday’s trainings and his exit is a matter of time. The long list of centre midfielders at the team is also leaving Haris Medunjanin on the list of possible exits.

The Bosnian said a couple of weeks ago that he was calm, but that if a new centre midfielder would arrive then he would like to talk to the club in order to define his status as he wants to play. Then Pedro Mosquera was signed and there’s an overbooking for the position.

Meanwhile there are three candidates to leave in a loan spell: centre-back Pablo Insua, left-back Saul García and striker Luis Fernández. The case with Insua is the most complicate one as he will only leave in order to play in a foreign league. The case with Saul is simpler as he can end at Segunda, while the case with Luis will only be studied when the club is able to sign a new forward.

Finally, there were rumors pointing that RCD Espanyol could be tempted to negotiate the transfer of Fabricio Agosto, but they already covered the position and the club hasn’t received any offer, so it seems the Canarian goalie will stay at Depor.
