Caparr??s has some doubts about the lineup he will present at El Sardinero, but what seems clear is the inclusion of Sergio, H?©ctor and Scaloni in this match. Meanwhile, Racing’s players fear the influence of Munitis in this match.

First Caparr??s has to decide if Jorge Andrade is ready to return to the starting lineup.  The Portuguese defender answered the call of his national team coach and apparently is in good conditions, but the Utrera-born Caparr??s wants to check his physical state before travelling to Santander.

Another doubt is Fabricio Coloccini. The Argentine defender is with his national team playing a friendly against Qatar. In any case Caparr??s has Juanma in the squad if any of the two international players aren't ready to face Racing. The other doubt is who will play on the right wing.  De Guzm??n has occupied the position in the last few matches, but V?ctor is ready to play. In this sense, the Sevillan coach has to decide between these two men to cover the position.

What seems clear is that the Sergio-Scaloni duo will perform in midfield and Duscher is banned for one. H?©ctor is another player who has a secure place since Manuel Pablo is still out of action.  Also, the presence of Valer??n and Trist??n seems to be assured.

The game at El Sardinero will have special meaning for Munitis and Juanma, as both men were part of Racing’s squad in the past, a fact that Juanma remembers as he said during the week, "It's a pretty important game. To come back and play in the place that was my home for the last five years is something special for me.  However, it isn't that special because what matters is victory and to continue chasing the opportunity to be in the top places of the table."

The Andalucian defender also commented on the tactics Racing could use in this match: "They’ll start off strong and we must be careful during the first minutes. When I was in the team and clubs like Deportivo or Real Madrid came to play at home, we started off very strong trying to break the game and direct it towards us. I believe that they will start with that mentality this time. Racing is a team that likes to block the exit of the ball. Their pressure is suffocating and they don't let you play the ball. If we are able to break that line of pressure, when they have to run back they will suffer a lot.

The doubts for coach Preciado are Casquero and Pablo Casar. Both men are coming back after injury, but they aren't ready to play. However, Morat??n and Felipe Melo will return after suspension. As Juanma mentioned, Preciado is focusing on pressure during the training sessions, the quick management of the ball and long shots. Apparently these are his main weapons in facing the Galicians.

The main worry for Racing is Pedro Munitis, the player that they consider to be one of the best at Depor. Youngster Juanjo said yesterday, "Deportivo is one of the giants in La Liga, we know them and they are a team used to playing in elite competitions. For me Munitis is one of their best players at this moment and at home he will try to demonstrate his skills."

Meanwhile, Anto?±ito, a former student of Caparr??s, believes that Deportivo’s best weapon is the spirit that the Sevillan coach has introduced to the Galician club. "He gave his style of playing to the team and also his vision of the game. We must remember that he has a group of players with a lot of quality. For that reason they are a very competitive squad."
