Deportivo are one of the four teams that have only used 20 players in the league competition, six men are pending to debut. Meanwhile, only Lux and Sidnei have played all the possible minutes.

A lot has been commented about the rotations made by coach Víctor Sánchez in this start of season, but the true is that Deportivo is among the clubs that has used the lesser number of players in the competition. Los Blanquiazules, together with RC Celta, Levante UD and Atlético Madrid, have only used 20 men after 11 matchdays. It’s the lowest mark in the league. Meanwhile Real Madrid and RCD Espanyol are the clubs with more players used so far (24).

Six men at Depor are waiting for a chance to debut. Goalkeeper Fabricio Agosto has remained injured since the pre-season, right-back Manuel Pablo is just recovering from a Soleus injury, while keeper Manu was signed in order to fill up a gap.

Then there are three cases of players that don’t count with the confidence of the coach: left-back Saúl García, centre midfielder Haris Medunjanin and winger Miguel Cardoso.  Some of these six men could be going out during the winter window, though before they will have the great chance to play in December as the team plays six games during that month, including two for Copa Del Rey.

At the other side of the story, five men have been starters in all the games: goalkeeper German Lux, centre-back Sidnei Rechel, left-back Fernando Navarro, centre midfielder Pedro Mosquera and playmaker Fayçal Fajr

Among this list, only Lux and Sidnei have played all the possible minutes (990). To mention that Sidnei is only one of the eighteen field players in la liga that have disputed all the possible minutes after eleven matchdays.

Víctor has a clear lineup for the games, a proof is that only twelve men have played in 8 or more games on this season: Lux, Sidnei, Fajr, Mosquera, Lucas, Borges and Navarro (all of them with 11), Laure and Juanfran (10), Arribas, Luis Alberto and Cartabia (8). The rest of players have been reduced to a few appearances, from Lopo with 4 games and 282 minutes to Álex Bergantiños with one appearance as a substitute and only 28 minutes on the field.
