Juan Dominguez and Fabricio are ready to return, but Luis Alberto remains struggling. Lucas, Cani, Jonathan & Juanfran are also ready after facing issues in the derby.

After the sweet victory in the derby, Deportivo travel to Estadio de Gran Canaria in order to face UD Las Palmas (Saturday, 22h05 CET). The Galician derby left the consequences of the physical problems for right-back Juanfran Moreno, midfielder Cani, plus attackers Jonathan Rodríguez and Lucas Pérez.

The four of them suffered knocks during last Saturday’s game and during this week they didn’t train at the same level than the rest of players, but it’s expected that the quarter will be available for the meeting with the Canarians.

Who will miss the game is attacker Luis Alberto. The Andalusian isn’t recovered from his groin injury and has been training apart the whole week. The doctors aren’t sure of when he could be available. Centre midfielder Celso Borges (toe fracture) is the other player that will miss the match.

At the same time coach Víctor Sánchez is recovering centre midfielder Juan Dominguez, the Galician player was a last-minute casualty for the derby due to an adductor problem. He joined the team during the week and should receive the medical okay to play on Friday. Another player that’s about to receive the green light from the doctors is goalkeeper Fabricio Agosto, who remains training at the same pace than the rest.

It should be remembered that on next week the team starts to compete in Copa Del Rey, so there will be rotations. That's why the coach decided to pick this week players from Fabril (there was a training match on Wednesday). In this sense centre-back Róber, plus wingers Álex Corredera and Óscar García could be picked for the visit to UD Llagostera (Wednesday).

At UD Las Palmas, the team remains in relegation but has shown some improvement since the arrival of new coach Quique Setién. With the arrival of the former boss of CD Lugo the Canarians won two of four games and are coming to this meeting after a meritorious draw at Mestalla against Valencia CF (1-1).

Setién is trying to settle a 4-3-3 draw and has two confirmed casualties for Saturday: Right-back Ángel López (meniscus) and centre midfielder Javi Castellano (knee). Meanwhile, centre-back Antolin Alcaraz remains doubtful.

There are four former Depor’s players at the squad, centre-back Aythami Artiles is the one with the highest participation; actually he has played in the twelve league meetings and is the fourth man with more minutes (1,023). Juan Culio has made 8 appearances (435 minutes). Meanwhile, winger Momo has only played 124 minutes and veteran playmaker Juan Carlos Valerón is the man with lesser minutes at the squad (73).
