New twist for Bicho, who now has been loaned out to Segunda B club SD Compostela until the end of the season. Third chance for the winger after failing at Barca B and after missing to perform for CD Leganés.

The club informed hours before the end of 2015 that Javier Fernández Abruñedo ‘Bicho’ has been loaned to Segunda B club SD Compostela until the end of the season. The 19-year-old winger debuted at the age of 17 when Depor was performing at Segunda, then went to Barcelona B on a two-year loan deal.

But the Galician lad only lasted there one season completing a grey performance in nineteen presentations, so the Catalans lost interest and canceled the deal after suffering the demotion. For this campaign he was loaned to CD Leganés at Segunda División, but didn’t play any minute and the club decided to take him out from there.

Now he joins a SD Compostela that has been struggling to survive at Segunda B. With only one game remaining in the first round the Galicians are penultimate at the standings after only scoring ten goals and after only winning three times.

Bicho will now have a final chance to shine out of Deportivo after been considered as one of the main promises at the Blanquiazul club. Over there he will meet striker José Joaquín Bertua Fontenla ‘Chiño’, who was his partner at Fabril some years ago.
