DEPORTIVO IN MARCH

Four official games for Deportivo in March, all of them to be played within the first 19 days of the month, the first three against in-form teams in La Liga.

After missing the victory in the more accessible calendar of February, now Deportivo will face a month of March playing in-form teams. There are four challenges in the month that will be played within the first 19 days, because the first break of the year arrives in the last week, moment when the national teams will play friendly games or World Cup qualifiers.

The first game in the month is the visit to Athletic Club, the Basques won three of the last six games and represent the seventh place the standings. They also have a busy schedule as they still playing the Europa League (the will face Valencia CF in the quarterfinals).

Málaga CF visit the Riazor on Saturday, the Andalusians were in relegation by matchday 13, but since then they have won six of the next 13 matches and are already tied in points with Deportivo. In that same period they only conceded nine goals.

Atlético Madrid is definitely the toughest game in the month, Depor visit the Calderón stadium facing the current runners-up and probably the only side that could get the title from FC Barcelona on this year, though they are six points under the Catalans. Atlético only lost once at home during this league season: 1-2 Vs. FC Barcelona (Sept 12).

March ends with the home game against Levante UD, the Valencians are now the last place at the standings after only winning six games on the season. They have lost four of the last six games and could arrive with a new coach as Rubi is highly questioned by the results.
