Depor have four casualties for the game and all of them are located at defence. The rival arrives living their best moment on the season, but without their top-scorer William José.

Problems in defence for Deportivo ahead of the home game against UD Las Palmas (Riazor, Monday, 20h30 CET). There are three normal starters that will skip the game, starting with goalkeeper German Lux, who sustained a medial collateral ligament (MCL) tear on his left knee during the derby against RC Celta. He won’t need surgery, but he won’t return on this season.

Then centre-back Alejandro Arribas was sent off with two yellow cards and in the process he told to referee Fernández Borbalán that ”Today you stole from use like you did the day of Villarreal”.. The competition committee banned him for three games, so he will return until the visit to SD Eibar. Finally, left-back Luisinho picked the fifth yellow card of the season at Balaídos and is also suspended.

The list of casualties in defence is completed with goalkeeper Fabricio Agosto, who remains evolving in his recovery process. At least right-back Manuel Pablo received the medical okay to play one month before the expectations. It isn’t probable that the Canarian veteran is going to play as a starter, but could be picked in order to cover the gaps on the bench.

There are no more casualties at the team after both Lucas Pérez and Fede Cartabia already joined the group after picking knocks in recent days. The week is going to be long for the team as the game is until Monday, for this reason the coaching staff scheduled a rare free day on Thursday, while there will be training behind closed doors at the Riazor on Sunday and Monday.

At UD Las Palmas, the team coached by Quique Setién has won five of the last six games and, like Deportivo, is really close to clinch the permanence. However they are having an important casualty for the game as striker William José is suspended after picking the fifth yellow card on the season. The ex-Real Madrid Castilla is the top-scorer at the team with eight goals scored, the half of them netted within the last seven meetings.

There are other four casualties at the squad. Playmaker Nauzet Alemán has been involved in some incidents and is internally suspended for the rest of the season; then there are three centre midfielders that are out injured. Wakaso Mubarak suffered a relapse from a muscle injury playing for Ghana, Javi Castellano has a knee problem that will keep him at bay until May and Hernán Santana has been tormented with a knee problem in recent weeks, he left the training session on Monday and won’t be available for the game at the Riazor.
