Coach Víctor Sánchez will have to make two changes at defence for the home meeting with UD Las Palmas. He has to select a new keeper. Meanwhile, he didn’t give clues on the lineup during the trainings at Abegondo.

With Fabricio and Lux injured, plus the suspensions of Arribas and Luisinho active for Monday’s game against UD Las Palmas, coach Víctor Sánchez will have to make important changes at defence.

The first one is the goalkeeper, Manu Fernández and Stipe Pletikosa are the two alternatives and until Saturday the coach hadn’t give any clue of who could be the chosen one. Until this point both have been alternated as the replacement of Lux on the bench.

The available spot at the centre of the defence seems clearer, at least for Monday’s game. Arribas will be out banned for three games and the spot alongside Sidnei is defined. When the Brazilian was injured the coach opted in moving Fernando Navarro to the centre, but since Luisinho is also suspended, then Albert Lopo will be the starter on Monday.

Fabril’s Róber Pier returned to train on Friday after a couple of weeks out inured, but it isn’t probable that he could be picked for the game, so Navarro should stay on the left side with Lopo and Sidnei performing at the central positons. This figure was tested once at the start of the week during the trainings.

The rest of the lineup is mystery, Víctor hasn’t tested any figure and the final formation could be trained in the next two days, occasions when the team will train behind closed doors (Sunday at Abegondo and Monday at the Riazor). But normally the coach trends to keep the figure of past games when he doesn’t test anything in midweek, so it’s highly probable that he will keep playing with a 4-4-2 figure.
