Deportivo could achieve the permanence on this weekend, this in case of a victory. A draw could do the job too, but it will depend of what happens on Friday.

First matchball for Deportivo, on Sunday Getafe CF visit the Riazor in a direct meeting between two of the seven clubs involved in the fight for the permanence. A defeat will extend the nightmare for the Galicians as the Madrilenians, currently in relegation, will reduce the distance to four points with two games remaining.

A positive result could seal the permanence for the Blanquiazul outfit, a victory will automatically secure the goal as Depor will keep the seven-point gap with the drop zone with only six points in dispute after the game.

A draw could also be enough, but in this case Deportivo will need first to see Sporting Gijón losing or drawing in their home clash with SD Eibar. That game takes place on Friday, so the Galicians will know for sure since the kick-off if a draw before Getafe CF is enough or not.

Matchday 36 could also witness the confirmation of the first relegated club. On Monday, Levante UD visit Málaga CF. If the Valencian side miss to win the game, then they will be relegated if Granada CF defeat Las Palmas UD on Saturday.
