Left-back Luisinho has been training apart since last week due to a new confrontation with Víctor. The Portuguese should be a starter against Villarreal for the suspension of Navarro, but it isn’t probable that he will be picked for the game.

On Monday it was known that Luisinho has been sidelined by the coaching staff after a new incident inside the changing room. Two weeks ago, previously to the visit to SD Eibar, it was reported that he sustained a knock and that he was going to miss the visit to Ipurúa, in the following week he was going out and in of the trainings and ended out of the game with Getafe CF.

What called the attention was that it was initially reported that he was still dragging physical issues, however he wasn’t listed in the medical report before last Sunday’s game, then Sportpaper AS talked for the first time about a ban for an incident that happened on last Thursday.

On that day there was a small incident between Oriol Riera and Lucas Pérez, the first left the session with a knock after an ugly tackle by Depor’s current top-scorer. Coach Víctor talked to them privately, but on the pitch of Abegondo and later rested importance to the incident saying that it was a “normal thing in any team.”

However, and according to the report of AS, Luisinho felt that it was unfair that he was sanctioned in a full way for his previous incident with Fernando Arribas, while nothing happened to these two players. Apparently he confronted Víctor on Thursday and that’s the reason why he secretly banned from the trainings and later wasn’t included in the roster for Getafe’s game.

This was only one of four confrontations between the player and the coach. One of them occurred in the visit to RCD Espanyol (February 20), Víctor preferred to play with Laure at the left-back position, in a post interview at Radio cadena Cope Luisinho complained about it, "When the coach puts a right-back at the left it isn't normal. I don't get it. I respect it, but don't understand it. If I am not playing, what I'm doing on here? I cannot be like this for too long, because I don't feel comfortable. Any player will feel disappointed. I train in order to play and it isn’t normal when he puts a right-back on the left. The coach is here in order to train and should put the best. He made the decision and I respect it, but don’t share it.”

Some days later Víctor rested importance to it and said that, “Those are situations during the games and nothing to say about it. The coaching staffs search the best for their teams, from an individual perspective, it is logical, because he is thinking of himself and not of the good for the group, but there’s no problem. The clear thing for us is that the team is beyond any situation. These cases happened before and we always search the best for the team.”

Two months later, for the visit to Sevilla CF (April 17), Luisinho was replaced at half-time and the Portuguese didn’t like it. According to the reports from the media Luisinho protested in private and therefore last week’s incident was the stroke that broke the camel’s back.

Coincidentally it turns out that Fernando Navarro is suspended for the important visit to Villarreal CF, so Luisinho should be the one starting at the left-back position. However, it’s highly probable that he won’t be picked for the game.

On Wednesday, the Portuguese defender was training apart, it was known that there was a meeting between president Tino Fernández and the agent of the player, later advisor Fernando Vidal visited the coach and it’s expected that Luisinho will train alongside the rest of the team during Thursday’s session, though it remains improbable to see him traveling to Vila-real.
