Fayçal Fajr isn’t happy with the things that have been occurring inside the club, reason why he leaves an open door to leave Depor. This just after confirming his continuity as Elche CF failed to achieve the promotion.

On Sunday, Elche CF could only drew with Valladolid CF, a result that means that they cannot longer aspire to the promotion to Primera División. This is important for Deportivo due to Fayçal Fajr.  The Moroccan midfielder was playing loaned coming from the Valencian club, but there’s a clause in his contract that forces the Valencians to release him in case of not clinching the promotion back to the elite.

And later Deportivo and the player had already agreed a contract lasting until 2018 in case that this condition was fulfilled. The club was so happy with him that they tried to clean the uncertainty presenting a transfer proposal to Elche CF at the end of 2015, but it was rejected by the Valencians. Now they ended without the player and without money.

Fajr himself confirmed the news to Radio Onda Cero as he is concentrated with the national team of Morocco. But beyond this, Fajr also said that he isn’t totally happy at Deportivo: as he said, “In football you never know what will be best for the future. I have a contract and, in the beginning, I will continue, but you never know. It remains to be seen if there are offers. Things have occurred at the changing room and it affects me. I spent a week in France away from the group and the club. When there’s a player who suffers it, then it affects me, because I have lived it in my flesh. We have spent a good year in a sporting sense, but things happened that weren’t pleasant. And now they've thrown the coach. That also affects me.”

“Of course it affects me. The coach has given me the opportunity to play 32 games as a starter at Primera Division and he wanted me in property despite having a clause in Elche. The players who didn’t play think it's better to see him leaving, but in a team the right solution is not always to fire the coach.” He added.

Fajr was a normal starter for Víctor Sánchez, though his presence was more important in the first round of the league tournament. Despite his words expressing concern with the exit of the coach, the true is that the player was already unhappy for his changing role at the team and there are rumours that he was one of the players that asked to leave during the winter window.
