Deportivo changed the calendar for the pre-season, there’s no longer a friendly in Brazil, while the first game in this stage is against Tercera club SD Negreira.

The club has modified the calendar of friendly games for the pre-season, firstly the South American tour has been reduced to only a visit to Uruguay after cancelling the friendly against Internacional in Brazil. In this way the long trip to South America will only mean a six-day stage in a tournament facing RC Celta and Nacional or Peñarol.

Then nine games have been scheduled for the pre-season, with the first one facing Tercera club SD Negreira, this game is taking place nine days after launching the pre-season (July 7). The pre-season ends one month later with a visit to Sporting Gijón.

Thus the pre-season stage will be divided in three parts; the first involves the first days of training at Abegondo and the first friendly, them the mini-tour in Uruguay and then the conclusion with the team training for a month in Abegondo and playing the remaining six friendly meetings, including the Teresa Herrera.

The new calendar for the pre-season:
July 16: SD Negreira v Deportivo (20h00 CET)
July 21: TBA (Uruguay)
July 23: TBA (Uruguay)
July 29: Racing de Ferrol v Deportivo
July 30: Real Oviedo v Deportivo
Aug 03: Verín CF v Desportivo Chaves v Deportivo
Aug 06: Feirense v Deportivo
Aug 09: Deportivo v Villarreal (Teresa Herrera)
Aug 13: Sporting Gijón v Deportivo
