Rubén Martinez and Bruno Gama completed the medicals on Wednesday. The keeper says that he is fulfilling a dream, while the winger is happy to return to the city of A Coruña.

On Wednesday Rubén Martinez and Bruno Gama completed the medicals before joining the trainings during the pre-season. Both men are signing two-year contracts and showed their satisfaction for playing at Deportivo.

In the case of the A Coruña-born player, he is happy to join the team from his city, “It is like a dream come true. I’m very happy, thankful, waiting to give back the confidence and to start as soon as possible. I was able to break the link with Levante and my agent told me about this possibility. When he told me then I was very happy. There was no doubt. I was on vacation and my agent started to talk, everything was done in days.” He said after completing the medicals.

Rubén is conscious of the competence at the goal, “We are three, but well this is normal in football. As long as we have a good environment, the competence could be good. My goal is to fight at the top and been able to play. If to sign for Depor is a dream, then to play will be another one.”

About the goal of the team, he was saying that Depor must face the situation game by game, “For me, to think of high goals could be negative, we must go step by step. Last year the first round was spectacular while the second wasn’t good at all. We must repeat the performance of the first round and later extend that good streak.”

In the case of the Portuguese winger, he is pretty happy to return to A Coruña, “I am very happy for been able to be here and for signing for Depor. I’m hopeful. I always wanted to return, it is a place where I am happy. We were talking for a while with Depor and reached a good agreement for both sides, that’ why I’m happy to be here.” He said after completing the medicals.

Bruno Gama was also saying that the goal for the season is the permanence, “I want to help the team and do my best. I’m hopeful about facing this project. Times passes and I still willing to help. I want to be happy on here. I know that the club is working to continue at Primera División. That’s why I’m here, content and willing to keep Depor at Primera, place where we should be, these fans should enjoy it.”
