The Aragonians suffered all season long and were in relegation by matchday 34, but an explosive end with 6 wins within the last 8 games granted the safety.

The striker was going in and out of the starting formations, he played 28 games in liga (18 as a starter) and scored four goals (plus one in Copa). He started 2016 been the starting choice and playing the full 90 minutes in the first 6 games in the new year, but later fell from the squad and became a substitute The striker barely played within the last 17 matchdays, though he ended with a positive note scoring twice in the 2-3 win at CA Osasuna (matchday 41), result that secured the permanence for his team.

Luis is the seventh player under contract that leaves Depor during the summer. Pablo Insua (Leganés), Juan Dominguez (Mallorca) and Róber (Levante) were loaned, while Miguel Cardoso also rescinded his contract and Manuel Pablo retired. Bicho and Luisinho are the other two players expected to leave.
