Four Deporís players saw action during the international break, two of them had a positive week as their teams had positive results, while the other either didnít play or had negative results. The man with more action was Celso Borges, who once again played the full 90 minutes in the two games that Costa Rica played in the road to the World Cup 2018.

The Central America country ended at the top of group B undefeated and with 16 points added in 6 games; in this international break they beat Haiti on the road (0-1) and Panama at home (3-1). Borges was one more time the motor at midfield. Costa Rica now advance to the final round of six nations that will try to get the three direct tickets to Russia.

It was also good news for FayÁal Fajr, who is finally entering into the plans of Moroccoís coach Hervť Renard. Deporís midfielder played the full 90 minutes in the friendly against Albania (0-0), and later entered as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe, the latter was the final game of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group. Morocco ended at the top undefeated and with 16 points added in 6 games. Fajr played as centre midfielder in both games.

Meanwhile, Florin Andone didnít have a good weekend. Romania was kicking out the road to the World Cup and could only grab a 1-1 draw hosting Montenegro. Deporís striker was a starter, but was replaced at minute 70 after having a poor performance. He wasted two good opportunities in the first half and had a discrete participation.

Marlos Moreno also had a discrete participation. Colombia played two games in the road to Russia 2018, first it defeated Venezuela (2-0) and later lost at Brazil (2-1). Moreno only played the final eight minutes of the game disputed at Manaos. Still, the Colombians remain in a good position as they are fourth in the CONMEBOL group.
