Deportivo will play three official games in a frame of only six days, this tight calendar arrives just after the team suffered two important casualties at the team. The coach has twenty players available, including Ryan Babel.

Busy week for Deportivo in la liga, the team has to face three games in a matter of six days. Truly it’s almost the same situation for all the clubs, but in the case of the Galicians side things are harder as the team is coming from a painful defeat that not only cost three points, but also the injury of two important players that will miss the games in the period.

Depor face two of the recently promoted clubs and also face a tough challenge visiting a rival that aspires to the title. On Monday, the Blanquiazul outfit visit Deportivo Alavés (20h45 CET). Then, on Thursday, host CD Leganés (20h00 CET) and then the marathon ends on next Sunday visiting Atlético Madrid at the Calderón stadium (16h15 CET)

Coach Gaizka Garitano will have three casualties for these three games. Fernando Navarro remains sidelined with a Soleus problem, while Sidnei Rechel (muscle) and Joselu Mato (knee) are the two men injured in the match with Athletic Club. The good news is that Bruno Gama is recovered from his knee sprain and is set to return into the starting formation.

This leaves the coach with twenty players available at the first team, which includes three keepers plus attacker Ryan Babel. The Dutchman has only completed two training sessions with the team and is uncertain if the coach will pick him for any of these three games.

Therefore, it won’t be a surprise if Garitano makes some rotations and decides to pick players from Deportivo B, for this reason four lads have been training with the team during the whole week: centre-backs Quique Fornos and Nacho Monsalve, left-back Lucas Viña, plus attacker Óscar ´Pinchi´ García.

The first rival in this busy schedule is Deportivo Alavés, euphoric side that has had a great start crowned by the 1-2 win at the Camp Nou. Coach Mauricio Pellegrino has the casualty of centre-back Zouhair Feddal, who suffered an ankle injury in the opening matchday before Atlético, but recovers Serbian midfielder Nenad Krsticic (knock) and playmaker Sergio Llamas (muscle).

Another recently promoted club with a positive start is the next team visiting the Riazor: CD Leganés. The Madrilenians have no casualties at this point, but won’t have Pablo Insua for the game against Depor. The centre-back cannot face his parent club due to a clause in his loan contract.

The last rival in the month is Atlético Madrid, Los Colchoneros bounced back from their slow start with a big win over RC Celta and a narrow victory in Champions League (0-1 at PSV). Three players will miss the clash with the Galicians: attacker Alessio Cerci, goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Moyá (both knee) and midfielder Tiago Mendes (thigh)
