Important victory that pulls the team into the first places. The local goals came early in the first part, there were doubts in the second as Depor’s lads were unable to close the score.

Coach Cristobal Parrolo was still having the casualties of Edu Expósito, Pedro and Marcos Legaz. There were three changes at the lineup that defeated Órdenes, the main one was the exit of Jorge Carreón, who stayed on the bench for the first time on the season.

The draw was a 4-2-3-1. Anxo Pérez was covering the goal, Blas Alonso performed at the right side in defence, Arnau and Nacho Monsalve were the centre-backs, Naveira performed at the left side, Álvaro Queijeiro and Hugo Rama were the centre midfielders, Óscar García attacked from the right wing, Borja Galán was the playmaker, Álex Corredera attacked from the left wing and Borja Domingo was the centre forward.

The rival was Villalonga CF, club trying to survive at Tercera under the command of coach Antonio Fernández. Iker Hurtado was the main reference in attack as the striker had netted two of the five goals of the team before this game.

Fabril won for the second time in a row, though it continues to leave doubts at the moment of playing at home. After a comfortable first part, there were doubts in the second half, more related to what happened in previous meetings with SD Silva and SC Arosa than of what the rival offered.

Depor B dominated the game since the beginning; before the ten-minute mark Depor had already scored a goal and had enough chances to have netted the second. The opening goal came through Óscar with a crossed shot from the edge of the area.

A few minutes later Borja Domingo could have scored the second after been assisted by Óscar, but the striker sent the ball out. Still, the second goal arrived soon. Blas Alonso joined the attack on the right wing and he attempted a cross that midfielder Manu deflected into his own net. The referee gave the goal to the right-back though.

There was never a reaction from Villalonga and Depor continued pushing led by Álvaro Queijeiro and Hugo Rama, duo that controlled midfield territory. The latter was close to score the third through a strong shot that went close to the post (26’).

Fabril didn’t suffer in the final fifteen minutes of the first half, though it neither created more opportunities. But everything changed at the start of the second part as the visitors scored the first goal in their first opportunity. It was a high volley that was seized by Javi Pazos to surpass Monsalve and then beat Anxo Pérez.

Immediately Borja Domingo could have scored the third goal after a bad clearance by visiting goalie Iván Parada, but the striker failed in the one-on-one action (53’). The goal brought the best minutes of Villalonga and Pazos scored again, but this time the goal was disallowed for an offside that was protested by the visitors.

Cristobal Parrolo allowed the entry of Jorge Carreón for Corredera, but the locals didn’t improve too much. Fabril continued having chances to close the game, but neither Óscar in a free-kick (71’) nor Borja Domingo in a one-on-one play (73’) were able to score the third goal.

Since the team wasn’t closing the game, Parrolo ordered the second substitution and Bamba N’diaye replaced Hugo Rama. The final change was the entry of Jardel for Borja Domingo. For the last ten minutes Villalonga didn’t represent any harm, but the points dropped before SD Silva and SC Arosa in past home games kept the tension until the final whistle.

For the first time on the season Depor B clinched back to-back-wins, though it left some doubts in the second half. The team is still fighting at the top places and on next Sunday it visits Rápido de Bouzas (18h00 CET).
