Four Deporís players were picked by their countries during the international break, Celso Borges had the best luck as his team won twice in the road to the World Cup.

The international break saw four Deporís players having actions with their teams in the road to the World Cup 2018. The one with the best results was Celso Borges at Costa Rica. The central American country played the first two matches in the final round of CONCACAFís group for Russia 2018 and won twice.

Borges played the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 win visiting Trinidad & Tobago and also in the 4-0 success hosting The United States. Costa Rica is now the leader in the group with six points, but Borges will join Deporís team until Friday, which means 24 hours before the home game with Sevilla CF.


Meanwhile, Morocco could only get a goalless draw hosting Ivory Coast in the second matchday of CAFís group A ahead of the next World Cup. Itís the second draw for the Eagles in a group commanded by the Ivorian team (4 points).

FayÁal Fajr didnít play in the game, though later he performed for 90 minutes in the friendly against Gabon (2-1 win). He performed as a centre midfielder and was dangerous in set-pieces, Fajr assisted for the first goal in a perfect cross in a lateral free-kick and was close to repeat the assist at the final minute, but the final shot hit the post. He will join Deporís trainings today.

The only player that didnít have minutes in the international break was Emre «olak. He was picked for the first time in almost a year and stayed in the bench the full game against Kosovo (2-0 win). Itís the first win after four games in UEFAís group I and now the Turkish side is only three points behind second place Ukraine.

Finally, the player with the worst luck was Florin Andone, because Romania lost twice during the break. The first was a catastrophic 0-3 loss hosting Poland, which was their first defeat after four games. They are now two points behind runners-up Montenegro.

Andone didnít play any minute in this game, but later played the full match in the friendly visiting Russia. The Romanians lost 0-1 and there was a polemic play in which the visitors protested a penalty over Deporís striker. He is expected to join Deporís training pitch during Thursdayís session.
