November was a sad month for Deportivo, the team suffered painful defeats and was unable to win. The only good news is that Florin Andone finally scored, precisely that’s the reason why the Romanian was chosen as player of the month.

The nightmare for Deportivo continued in November; the team played three games in liga and one in Copa facing Andalusians clubs, and all they got was a point against last-place Granada CF. It was painful as Depor was in advantage in all the liga meetings and, in two of them, they lost the game with a goal scored in the stoppage time (Vs. Sevilla CF and at Málaga CF).

The situation leaves the team at the edge of the relegation zone and coach Garitano rumoured to be at the door out. The only thing that can be rescued is the awakening of Florin Andone, who finally scored wearing Depor’s shirt and to emphasize that he did it in three straight matchdays.

That’s why he was chosen by the RCDLC.com members as the player of November. The Romanian was elected as the best player in the games with Granada CF and Sevilla CF, and later got a point in the visit to Málaga CF. In the latter match the best player was Celso Borges, who was the other big winner in the month, this after netting a brace at La Rosaleda.

Summary of the month:

Rival Note MOM Points PV
Granada 1 Andone 11 none
Sevilla 1 Andone 18 Luisinho
Málaga 1 Borges 20 Andone
Betis -- None 0 none

Overall: Despite not collecting any point in November, Emre Çolak continues to lead the race for the RCDLC.com player of the season award. The Turkish wasn’t a factor in the meetings with Málaga CF and Sevilla CF, and later stayed on the bench for the game against Málaga CF and Real Betis. Juanfran Moreno remains as the runner-up and the performance of Andone helped him to tie Albentosa at the third spot.
