Garitano recovers Babel and Borja Valle in what could be his last game at Depor, Bruno Gama is off and Andone is doubtful. Real Sociedad arrives with several doubts and three players out injured.

Crucial game for coach Gaizka Garitano, during the shareholders meeting held on this week the president of Deportivo didn’t want to confirm that there’s an ultimatum over the Basque man, but neither denied it. So, it’s understand that a new defeat facing Real Sociedad (Riazor, Monday, 20h45 CET) will pull him out from Deportivo.

And Garitano recovers men for the match, because both attackers, Borja Valle (quadriceps) and Ryan Babel (Soleus), joined the group on Thursday and one day later received the medical okay to play. The other attacker at the squad, Florin Andone, didn’t train on Saturday and is doubtful due to a knock, but it’s expected that he will be fit for Monday. He has scored a goal in each one of the previous three liga meetings.

Who won’t be available is winger Bruno Gama, the Portuguese winger ended the game with Málaga CF with issues and the scans confirmed that he suffered a grade II muscle injury on his left leg. He will be out for at least three weeks, which means he won’t play more games in 2016. The other player out for the match is right-back Laure, who is still recovering from a Soleus problem.

At Real Sociedad, coach Eusebio Sacristán is having some injury concerns for the visit to the Riazor. First to all, three players won’t be available for the meeting: centre midfielder Markel Bergara (ankle knock), midfielder/centre-back Jon Gaztañaga (thigh) and striker Imanol Agirretxe (ankle).

Then four men are doubtful. Midfielder David Zurutuza and playmaker Esteban Granero are dragging knocks from the game in Copa at Real Valladolid, while attacker Mikel Oyarzabal (shoulder sprain) and centre midfielder Rubén Pardo (muscle) have been training apart all week long and will try to pass a late test on Sunday in order to know if both will be available for the trip to A Coruña.

19-year-old Oyarzabal would be a sensitive casualty after providing four assists in thirteen presentations. Captain Xabi Prieto skipped the game in Copa against Real Valladolid due to suspension and should be a starter at the Riazor.
