Depor visit the Santiago Bernabéu refreshed after the victory on Monday, Albentosa is doubtful, while the rival could rest players just days before debuting in the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup.

After the refreshing victory on Monday, Deportivo have now to pay a visit to one of the most in-form teams in la liga: Real Madrid (Santiago Bernabéu, Saturday, 20h45 CET). The Galician team is facing less pressure and coach Gaizka Garitano knows that his job isn’t in danger for now, but he already earned that Depor remain in a complicate situation at the standings.

For the game in Madrid, the Basque coach has two confirmed casualties. Right winger Bruno Gama (muscle) and right-back Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’ (Soleus). Both men remain sidelined and could re-join the team on next week.

Attacker Ryan Babel is dragging issues since last week, so he trained apart on Wednesday, but it was only for precaution and the Dutchman should be available for the match. But it isn’t sure if Garitano could be repeating the lineup that defeated Real Sociedad on Monday.

Because centre-back Raúl Albentosa didn’t end Thursday’s session after sustaining a knock.  He will face a late test on Friday in order to know if he will be available for the visit to the Bernabeú. Striker Florin Andone also skipped the last part of Thursday’s session, but it was only a precaution and he will be a starter.

At Real Madrid, Los Blancos are living an excellent season as they remain undefeated after 22 official meetings on this season (14 in liga, 6 in Champions League and 2 in Copa Del Rey). Now they are ready to face the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup, so the meeting with Depor is their last game in Spain during 2016.

Coach Zinedine Zidane could be tempted to rest players in order to prepare the squad for the long trip. For now he has only one confirmed casualty: Gareth Bale. The winger is out until 2017 with an ankle sprain.

Midfielder Toni Kroos (toe fracture) and striker Álvaro Morata (thigh) weren’t expected to be fit to play for the game with Depor, but they were picked for the Champions League game with Borussia Dortmund, so they could be in contention for Saturday.
