Garitano has found a starting lineup, mainly for the great form of players like Andone, Babel and Guilherme, the latter broke the mark of more touches for a Deporís player on this season.

The seven notes from the game Vs. CA Osasuna:

1- Finding a lineup: Garitano has found a starting eleven, he repeated the lineup for the third straight opportunity and the result was to achieve two win in three games, and in the defeat he was only five minutes away of getting the three points at the Bernabťu.

What has made this fact possible is the good moment of the attackers, Andone and Babel are scoring, while Carles Gil brings assists. In other positions thereís a similar situation, Juanfran is on fire on the right side, and at midfield Guilherme was the right solution to the poor form of Pedro Mosquera. The fact that the injuries arenít hitting the team is another fact helping the coach.

2- Two very different halves: The blackout at half-time caused more than a simple delay. The first half was dynamic, with Depor controlling the ball possession and with a very offensive orientation, but Osasuna also tried to do some damage through the counterattack. Thus the first part witnessed fourteen shots.

Things radically changed for the final act, Depor only completed one shot, while Osasuna made six. The Galicians were more worried in not suffering a comeback like in past games and didnít have presence in attack, while the Navarrans almost completed the same number of shots than in the first part, but only one of them was on target, so the game was boring.

3- The growth of Carles Gil: Many people were disappointed with the performance of Carles Gil, and truly he never had an impact in the game at the beginning of the season. But things have changed recently, the Valencian winger is now a key member in attack and the best number to demonstrate this is the fact that he has provided four assists in his last four games in liga. In this game, he only made 55 touches, but made two key passes, one of them was the assist in the second goal.

4- Babel & Andone With Joselu on the bench, Ryan Babel and Florin Andone led the attack of Deportivo and they responded again scoring the goals against Osasuna. This duo has scored or assisted in eleven of the sixteen goals netted by Depor within the last seven league matchdays.  That number clearly demonstrated the importance of both men and their good form, the pity is that Babel seems at the door out as his contract expires on next week.

5- Juanfran was a dagger: One of the keys to the game was the highway that Juanfran Moreno found at the right side of Osasunaís defence. He constantly overflowed Clerc and ended making seven crosses. He touched the ball in 106 opportunities and represented the third Deporís player on this season that passes the mark of 100 touches in one single game. It was even possible to see him making six dribbles, a rare thing on him. It only demonstrates that he is one of the most in-form players at the squad.

6- The silent game of Guilherme; All eyes were in the attacking line, but thereís a player that needs a special attention in this game: Guilherme Dos Santos. The Brazilian had his most complete game at Depor, with 138 touches (the highest number for a Deporís player on the season) and a very respectful pass accuracy of 93%

The midfielder won five aerial duels and made one interception. And to round his perfect game he also joined the attacking line and completed two shots. Guilherme, like other players as Carles Gil, started the season surrounded by doubts, but has earned a spot at the starting eleven.

7- First clean sheet at home in almost a year: Deportivo closed last year with a 2-0 win at the Riazor facing SD Eibar (December 19). In the following nineteen official games at home (eighteen in liga and one in Copa Del Rey) Deportivo conceded at least a goal, now Depor are again closing the year with a clean sheet and a 2-0 win. The Galicians were close to tie the mark of Gimnŗstic Tarragona of spending a whole year conceding goals at home (1949).
