Deportivo B are ending the first round with a victory that allows the team to be in promotion seats. Borja Galán and Óscar were the best players for a team that scored early in each half.

Coach Cristobal Parrolo was recovering Borja Galán, who missed the past gam with CD As Pontes due to suspension. He went directly into the starting eleven. Marcos Legaz was the player out for injury reasons.

The draw was a 4-3-3, Álex Cobo was the starting goalie, Blas Alonso performed at the right side of the defence, Lucas Viña did it at the left, the centre-backs were Quique Fornos and Nacho Monsalve. Edu Expósito, Manu Molina and Álvaro Queijeiro were the centre midfielders, Óscar García attacked from the left wing, Borja Galán did it from the right, then Borja Domingo was the centre forward.

The rival was SD Dubra, recently promoted team coached by Jesús Baleato and that was in relegation after losing three of the previous five games. Eloy Díaz was the reference in attack after scoring five goals on the season.

Easy win for Fabril to close the first round in liga. The rival gave some problems with the 0-1 in the scoresheet, but later feel down after the second goal. The counterattack was crucial as both Óscar García and Borja Galán were pretty active in the game.

And it’s that Óscar only needed one minute to create his first goal opportunity, it was a pass for Lucas Viña that was transformed into a perfect assist to Edu Expósito, the high cross from the left was met by the striker at the box and he headed the ball home to score his third goal of the season.

Fabril were dominating the game and continued to have arrivals; at minute 15 a dangerous cross from Óscar didn’t find a receiver. SD Dubra only reacted starting at minute 30, they slowly were disputing the ball possession and started to have opportunities, the main one was a cross by Eloy Díaz that was missed by Diego Bendaña (35’).

The narrow score at half-time was inviting to think that things could be complicated in the final part, but again Fabril found an early goal that opened the gates for the victory. It was a solo play by Borja Galán after been assisted by Edu Expósito that ended with a crossed and drilling shot past local goalie Brais Midón.

SD Dubra gave up after the second goal and Fabril were going to find a third, again in a counterattack action. A long pass from Queijeiro left Óscar alone before Brais and the keeper committed a penalty that the winger materialized from the spot. It is the 13th goal on the season for the winger.

The game was over with 25 minutes left and Parralo spent the time making the changes, thus Álex Corredera, Hugo Rama and Jorge Carreón entered the field. There were no more scoring chances.

Easy win for Depor B, the rival gave some problems at the end of the first part, but early goals at the start of each half paved the way for the eleventh victory on the season. Fabril are ending the first round in promotion seats, third and only six points below leader Rápido de Bouzas. The team will now rest during the holidays and will kick-off the second round visiting SD Compostela (January 8).
