The second signing in the winter market completed the medicals on Tuesday. Kakuta is happy for returning to la liga and says that he is fine physically, but that maybe he won’t be ready to debut on Friday.

Gaël Kakuta completed the medicals on Tuesday. Before he talked to reporters. The French winger is happy for returning to Spain and hinted that he is fine, but that won’t be available for Friday’s game at UD Las Palmas.

The former Rayo Man started saying that he is happy to be back in la liga, “Thanks to Deportivo for the opportunity. I am very happy. This is a league that I like a lot. I had the chance to come and, as I said before, I am happy to be here. As long as I can still be playing on here, the best for me. This is a team that plays a football that I like. And for my family it’s good too.”

He was asked if he can repeat his good year with Rayo Vallecano, “I will be better. I hope to contribute with goals and assists. I am an offensive player and will give the best of me. I will give my best and work hard in order to help the team.”

The winger hinted that he won’t be available for the game against UD Las Palmas after the long trip from China, “I have spent a month working with a physical trainer and am fine. I also worked with the team in China and am fine, but I need some time. I am coming from a country that’s sixteen hours away from here, but the decision is of the coach and will work in order to be available soon.”

Finally, Kakuta said that he already knows the style of Deportivo, “It’s a team that practises a football that I like, they play well and like to have the ball. I know the players because I watch all the games of la liga teams and also play Football Manager a lot.”
