Not a good game for Fabril, but an early goal was enough to secure a fourth straight win and increase the difference at the top of the standings. Óscar scored his 18th goal on the season.

Coach Cristobal Parrolo was losing Álvaro Queijeiro for suspension. Striker Marcos Legaz was out of the game too due to injury reasons. The coach decided to make changes as he as losing a key piece at midfield, the changes included to switch the draw.

The draw was a 4-1-4-1, Álex Cobo was the starting goalie, Blas Alonso performed at the right side of the defence, Lucas Viña did it at the left, the centre-backs were Quique Fornos and Nacho Monsalve. Edu Expósito was the lonely centre midfielder, Borja Galán attacked from the left wing, Óscar did it from the right, Manu Molina and Carlos López were the playmakers and Jardel was the centre forward.

The rival was CD Choco, club that’s trying to secure the permanence as soon as possible. Coach Marcos Montes was missing playmaker Carlos Rodríguez Portela 'Caloi' for injury reasons, but played with Diego Silva and Féliz Rial, duo in attack that combined has scored ten goals on this season.

Not a good game by Deportivo B, the team only pushed within the first ten minutes and later failed to materialize the few scoring opportunities that were created. But a promotion candidate also needs to know how to survive in complicate games, and Fabril protected the leadership with a solid defence that didn’t give any concession to a rival that became desperate with the passage of the minutes.

The best moment of Fabril in this game was located at the start, within the first ten minutes, moment when the team had the ball and scored the lonely goal in the game. The goal was a lateral free-kick in which Edu Expósito sent the cross from the left and Óscar "Pinchi" collected the ball at the far post to net his 18th goal on the season.

A few minutes later the second goal could have arrived in a similar play, a new free-kick at the right wing, but neither Monsalve nor Lucas Viña were able to succeed at the far post and the ball went over the crossbar. Later Deportivo B became a more passive team, more concerned of defending than searching for the second goal. The locals claimed control of the actions and protested a possible penalty of Monsalve over Diego Silva that wasn’t whistled (15’).

The harassment of Choco was only creating opportunities in set-pieces that never ended in a clear goal opportunity. Meanwhile, Fabril had only a chance in a counterattack that was wasted by Portuguese striker Jardel (35’).

The game became boring in the second part, the continuous fouls and the lack of depth by Choco meant to witness a match without opportunities. Fabril continued more focused in defending and its only opportunity was a long run of Borja Galán ha ended with a shot that went over the crossbar (63’).

Only the narrow score kept the tension as Choco became desperate with the passage of the minutes. Their only shot was an attempt by substitute <>Óscar Pérez that was blocked by Álex Cobo (84’). The local anxiety was transformed into impotence as striker Diego Silva was sent out due to a tough challenge.  The final stretch was also used by Parrolo in order to lose time and refresh the team with the changes, thus Carreón, Ángel and Borja Domingo entered the pitch.

Not a good performance for Fabril in this game, but it was the perfect weekend as the chasers failed and now the team has a three-point lead at the top of the standings. Only ten matchdays are left and Sunday is key as Depor B entertains CCD Cerceda, the current third place at the standings that’s lying only four points behind (Abegondo, 12h00 CET).
