Rubén Martínez returns, but Cristóbal Parralo loses Juanfran. Adrian and Carles Gil are closer to return. The rival is missing Recio and arrives to the meeting in a difficult situation.

Mixed news for Deportivo during the international break and before the visit to Málaga CF (La Rosaleda, Sunday, 12h00 CET). Coach Cristóbal Parralo saw how all the players that were injured were training with the team, but also witnessed how his outfield men with more minutes got injured.

And it’s that Juanfran Moreno suffered a hamstring injury (semimembranosus muscle) on his left leg during a training session and could be out for a month. Also, striker Adrián López (shoulder) and playmaker Carles Gil (groin) started to train with the team, but won’t receive the medical okay to play against Málaga CF.

The rest are good news. Goalkeeper Rubén Martínez finally received the medical okay and is about to be seen if Cristóbal will pull him into the starting team. Playmaker Fede Cartabia (muscle) and left-back Luisinho (thigh) are recovered from their knocks, while the international players joined the team on Thursday and are fit to play: Celso Borges (Costa Rica), Fabian Schär (Switzerland), Fede Valverde (Uruguay). Florin Andone and Costel Pantilimon (both Romania).

Málaga CF arrive to the meeting in the middle of a tense situation, this for been the bottom place and with coach Míchel González having conflicts with several players. There are three men missing the game with Deportivo.

The most sensitive one is centre midfielder José Luis García del Pozo ‘Recio’, who is suspended after picking the fifth yellow card on the season. Another centre midfielder, Zdravko Kuzmanovic, is also out since one month ago after picking a muscle injury in the warming up before facing CD Leganés.

Then left-back Federico Ricca is out with a hamstring injury suffered in the visit to Sevilla CF. Meanwhile, right-back Miguel Torres is doubtful with muscle issues. At least Míchel is recovering left-back Juankar and playmaker Chory Castro, duo that’s available after been out due to illness. The best news is that striker Diego Rolán is recovered from a hamstring problem and will be available too. The Uruguayan has been one of the best players on this season.
