Parralo has problems in defence as Albentosa is out and Sidnei is doubtful. Valverde is ineligible to play. Real Madrid will miss Sergio Ramos.

Deportivo launch the second round in la liga with big doubts regarding the level of the team and the worry of the fans for seeing the team in relegation. And the first task is one of the hardest ones on the season as the Galicians visit Real Madrid (Bernabéu stadium, Sunday, 16h15 CET).

Coach Cristóbal Parralo will face the game having the same squad of last weekend as the so wished signings haven’t arrived yet. Worse than that, the Andalusian coach is having problems in defence. This since two of the three centre-backs have been facing issues during the week. Raúl Albentosa hasn’t trained during this week due to back pain and has been ruled out of the meeting, while Sidnei Rechel has missed three trainings sessions due to a muscle problem.

The Brazilian will pass a late test on Saturday in order to see if he will be fit to play. Since there are only two centre-backs with options for the game, it’s highly probable that the coach is going to pick Steve One from Fabril in order to fill the gap, and he also has the option to use Guilherme in the position, something tested during the week.

The other two confirmed casualties for the game are centre midfielder Fede Valverde and playmaker Fede Cartabia. The Uruguayan is ineligible to play as Real Madrid is his parent club, while the Argentine is in the final phase of his recovery process after a groin surgery, he should join the group with the next two weeks. Finally, winger Zakaria Bakkali returns after not been available against Valencia CF due to a clause on his loan contract.

Real Madrid reach the game under a big pressure after a disappointing first round in liga. The Madrilenians are 19 points away from leaders FC Barcelona and coach Zinedine Zidane is blamed for the performance of the team.

Los Blancos played on Thursday for Copa Del Rey against CD Leganés (0-1 win) and Zidane made rotations, to the point that players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale were not even included in the roster for the game, so they will have a fresh squad for the meeting with Depor.

Zidane only has two casualties for the game with the Galicians. The main one is centre-back Sergio Ramos, who will miss the game with Depor due to a thigh injury. Another centre-back, Jesús Vallejo, only lasted fifteen minutes in the Copa game with CD Leganes due to a knock and is also out, while striker Karim Benzema will be available after been out for a fortnight due to a muscle problem.
