Seedorf prepares new changes as his Deportivo still searching for the first win in 2018. Four men are out of the game at Montilivi, including suspended keeper Maksím Kóval.

Deportivo still in a delicate situation, it needs victories and the next game is a tough one, the visit to Girona FC (Friday, 21h00 CET). Coach Clarence Seedorf is planning new changes and has four casualties for the game.

Midfielders Guilherme (muscle), Fede Valverde and Fede Cartabia (both hamstring) are out injured, while keeper Maksím Kóval is suspended after been sent off in the home game with SD Eibar.

Beyond the change at the goal, Seedorf is planning other four modifications, including the return of Pedro Mosquera, who missed last Saturday’s game for a suspension, plus Fabian Schär and Zakaria Bakkali. The expected modifications will vary the lineup from the diamond figure in the previous game into a 4-2-3-1 system.

The Dutch coach has continued with his specific trainings separating the team in groups depending of their specialization (defenders, midfielders and attackers). The novelty on this week is that, for the first time since his arrival, he has called Fabril’s outfield players to the training sessions. On Tuesday midfielder Gaizka Martínez and Portuguese striker Jardel worked with the first team, one day later Juvenil A defender Mujaid trained with the squad.

Girona FC is living a dream, in their debut at the elite the Catalans are aspiring to the UEFA Europa League and are practically saved. They are really strong at Montilivi and want to extend their rally of five straight home victories.
Coach Pablo Machín have the casualty of goalkeeper José Aurelio Suárez, who is out for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury. Defender Carles Planas is doubtful after been replaced in the past game with Villarreal CF due to a thigh injury.
