No surprises. Deportivo will face the liga clash with Espanyol without novelties in the starting eleven. Caparr??s has been preparing the same lineup that defeated Real Madrid and that drew with Recreativo at the Nuevo Colombino. The match against the Catalans will also mean the end of the first round in la liga.

Caparr??s will maintain the squad that has started positively the year 2007. Aouate will play as the goalkeeper and will complete the first round playing in every possible minute in la liga. The other player that's living the same case is Joan Capdevila who will perform as left back. Meanwhile, Manuel Pablo will cover the right side and the duo Arbeloa-Andrade will continue in the centre.

The couple De Guzm??n-Duscher will occupy midfield. Both of them have done a good job during the last two liga matches, and Caparr??s will trust in them once again. Estoyanoff will continue on the right wing, and Cristian on the left. Finally, the couple Riki-Arizmendi will be upfront trying to improve the poor scoring record of Deportivo.

Who will face a special confrontation is Albert Lopo, the Catalan defender will be on the bench, but he said that it will be weird to be facing the club in which he debuted: "It will be strange for me since we will play against the team that I defended all these years. It will be pretty since I will meet my ex-partners. But everything will be over on the pitch."

Espanyol and Deportivo maintain a legal confrontation for Lopo, the defender arrived for free during the summer, but the Catalan squad is demanding a €5 million payment as part of the formation rights over the player. During the last days it has been commented that the Galician club might try to negotiate the transfer of Sergio as part of this payment. The media speculates that both presidents will talk before the match in order to solve this case.

The main news in Espanyol is that Pablo Zabaleta will miss the game with Deportivo. He has a dislocated shoulder and will be out of action for two months. The Argentinean suffered this problem during a training session after he collided with Gorka and David Garc?a. It was worried that Tamudo will also miss the game (flue), but the Catalan has been training with normality during the last days. Lacruz, David Garc?a, C?sar Peixoto and Eduardo Costa could also return after they missed the game with Barcelona for injury reasons. Ex-Depor striker, Walter Pandiani, is also ready to return to Riazor.

Espanyol has only achieved three victories in Riazor after 24 visits to La Coru?a. The last one was on the last campaign (1-2). The Catalans come to this game after an impressive 3-1 win over Barcelona, but midfielder Mois?s Hurtado has warned that Depor will be a tough rival: "We can't be too much relaxed for this game. Deportivo started well this season, later they had problems and now they are shining again. It's a complicated rival. It will be as difficult as the past match with Barcelona."
