Coach Joaqu?n Caparr??s seems decided to maintain the 4-4-2 formation that has given him good results during the new year. In order to replace Capdevila and Riki for the game in Zaragoza -both suspended- the Sevillan has proved with Filipe Luis and Taborda covering their positions. The rest will be the same team that has played the last three liga matches.

Yesterday's training session gave the first look to what Caparr??s is preparing for the trip to Zaragoza. The Utrera-born coach proved a 4-4-2 formation that included the presence of Filipe Luis and Sebasti??n Taborda in the lineup. Capdevila and Riki are suspended for the match and it was speculated that Caparr??s might transform the lineup into a 4-2-3-1.

Deportivo hasn't lost a match since the Sevillan turned his strategy into a 4-4-2 figure, and Caparr??s knows the importance of maintaining the impulse, that's why he will try to make the least possible changes to the formation that has achieved five of the last nine points disputed.

In defence, Caparr??s will maintain Manuel Pablo at the right back, while the duo Andrade-Arbeloa will cover the centre. The only change is the mentioned appearance of Filipe to cover the place of Capdevila. Midfield will see the continuity of Duscher and De Guzm??n, a couple that has brought solidity in this sector during the last three matches.

Cristian Hidalgo will continue performing on the left wing, and Estoyanoff will do it on the right. This time the striking duo will be conformed by Arizmendi and Taborda. The Uruguayan will replace Riki, probably being the most vital decision of Caparr??s during the week. The Madrilian combination between Riki and Arizmendi has worked really well, and now Taborda has to demonstrate that he is able to repeat the same effect.

Fabi??n Estoyanoff analysed the performance of Deportivo during the last matches, saying that the reaction seen in the squad is happening because each player is facing the game with a different mentality: "Now we are fighting for each ball as it were the last one. We have achieved good results lately because the team is fighting hard in every match. We have to demonstrate courage on the pitch, and in this way, we can achieve great things."

The Uruguayan also talked about the level of Zaragoza: "They have great players, Aimar, Milito or D'Alessandro, they are very skilful with the ball and possess a large vision on the field, but we have players that are able to control them. We must take the ball from them, we know that if we play in the same way as the last matches, it will be difficult to defeat us."

In Zaragoza, the recent news appoints that Andr?©s D'Alessandro won't play in this game. The Argentinean was whistled in the last match against Recreativo and coach V?ctor Fern??ndez isn't happy with his latest performance. It has been commented that ?ngel Lafita will replace him. Lafita was linked with Depor at the end of the past year, but the youngster preferred to sign an extension with Zaragoza. It was also known that Albert Celades has been discarded for the match for injury reasons (ankle), while Carlos Diogo is suspended.
