The year ends with important moves both at the top and at the bottom. The big loser is Deportivo, side that lost the seat in direct promotion after suffering a big loss visiting Cádiz CF (3-0). It’s only the second defeat for the Galicians, but they fell into the fourth place, while the Andalusians remain sixth.

Granada end the year at the top of the standings despite dropping two points in the visit to Granada CF (1-1), they were winning since minute 10, but a goal in the added time meant the final draw. The big winner at the top of the standings is Albacete Balompié; Los Manchegos played a bad game hosting Rayo Majadahonda but a late goal from Rey Manaj secured the three points (1-0). They are now the most in-form team in the league with five wins in the last six games, enough to reach the second place.

Málaga CF remain third after a goalless draw visiting Real Oviedo; AD Alcorcón remain in the promotion zone despite their bad moment. They drew 1-1 hosting CD Numancia and have now only added one point within the last five games.

CA Osasuna chained a second straight win thanks to a goal from Juan Villar visiting CF Reus (0-1) and are now seventh. RCD Mallorca still in the fight and in this matchday they defeated Gimnaátic Tarragona (2-0). Meanwhile, UD Las Palmas continue to fall.
