Another bad matchday for the top teams, with the exception of CA Osasuna, side that’s has now a six-point lead. Cádiz re-entered the promotion zone.

For the second straight matchday, the teams at the tops failed. It only opened the door to CA Osasuna to direct promotion. The Navarrans didn’t play well, but a goal from Robert Ibáñez was enough to overcome Extremadura UD (1-0), now they have a six-point lead over the third place.

Meanwhile, runners-up Granada CF were surprised in their visit to CD Numancia (2-1), while Málaga CF only got a point hosting Sporting Gijón (1-1). Neither Albacete Balompié nor Deportivo achieved the victory in their games, Los Manchegos suffered a late goal from  Malbašić and ended drawing with CD Tenerife (2-2), while the Galician only got a point visiting Real Oviedo (1-1).

Cádiz CF re-entered the promotion zone and it did it without playing, the Andalusians added the three points of the meeting with FC Reus and saw how RCD Mallorca were surprised in their visit to relegation-troubled Córdoba CF (3-2).

Two teams that suffered big setbacks in their promotion aspirations were AD Alcorcón and UD Las Palmas. The Madrilenians only added a goalless draw hosting CD Lugo, while the Canarians lost at home against Elche CF (0-1). They are now eight and ten points respectively from the sixth place and will hardly make it to the playoffs.
