Pablo Mari is doubtful and is the main concern of Marti ahead of the last train to Primera. The rival arrives tired, but without casualties.

Almost eleven months later, and after playing 45 matches (42 in liga, one in Copa and two more in the playoffs), Deportivo are caressing the promotion to the elite, but first it must pass through RCD Mallorca in a two-leg series that’s going to be tough. The first game will be played on Thursday at the Riazor (21h00 CET), and the second in Sunday at Son Moix (21h00 CET).

And coach José Luis Martí arrives to the meeting with the squad almost intact after playing the previous four games in a frame of fourteen days, the only problem is located at the centre of the defence. Pablo Mari skipped the two games with Málaga CF due to an adductor muscle injury and is doubtful for the next series, while Iñigo López has been suspended by la liga after the most recent revelations in the match-fixing scandal at SD Huesca.

So, the coach only has two centre-backs available, Domingos Duarteand Michele Somma. it means in case of needing someone for the position, and if Mari isn’t fit, then he will have to pull Eneko Bóveda or Álex Bergantiños to the central positions. There’s also the choice to pick someone from Fabril (Mujaid and Gaizka Martínez have trained with the team), but it’s not probable as the coach hasn’t picked them for previous games.

The players that will surely miss the game are Michael Krohn-Dehli and Vitor Silva. The Danish midfielder has been out the full year due to an Achilles injury, while the Portuguese playmaker has been out with a muscle problem, though the latter is not counting for Martí since the 1-2 defeat against Extremadura UD (April 21).

The rest of the squad is available. The coach has rotated some positions and will surely make more changes as both legs are played in a frame of only three days. Borja Valle, Fede Cartabia and Quique González could be returning to the starting eleven.

At RCD Mallorca, Los Bermellones are living a dream after clinching the promotion from Segunda B only one year ago. Their situation is a little more complicated than the one of Depor, because they played the second-leg game with Albacete on Sunday, which means one less day for the rest plus the fact of been forced to make two long trips in midweek.

But the team coached by Vicente Moreno arrives intact, tired, but with all the players available. Striker Abdon Prats was dragging muscle issues, but was a starter on Sunday performing for 65 minutes. Attacker Ante Budimir skipped the two games with Albacete due to muscle issues, but he’s also expected to be fit.
