Five players were loaned out during the season 2018/19, only Róber had a solid season though he ended injured.

The analysis of the five players that played loaned out from Depor during the season 2018/19.

Diego Rolan (510 minutes at Primera). Disappointing season for one of the weirdest signings in decades; last year the Uruguayan joined the first team without any official announcement and one week later was loaned to CD Leganés together with Juanfran, over there he only had 215 minutes and it was reported he had disciplinary issues with coach Mauricio Pellegrino. In the winter window he was loaned to Deportivo Alavés and had more minutes (295), but without having any impact and neither scored goals. A big step-back for a player that cost €6 million.

Róber Suárez (2,853 minutes at Primera) Definitely, the loaned player with the better season. The Galician centre-back was loaned again to CD Leganés and was a fixe starter alongside Erick Cabaco at the centre of the defence, he played in 33 of the 38 liga matches and scored a goal in the 4-4 draw at SD Eibar (December 9). Unfortunately, he suffered a series knee injury during the visit to Girona FC (May 12) and missed the last seven games.

Juanfran (1,460 minutes at Primera) The Madrilenian and Nyom alternated the starting role at the right side of CD Leganés, and he offered and acceptable performance though without shinning. He managed to score a goal in the visit to Getafe CF (March 30) and Pellegrino has said that he was satisfied with him, to the point of attempting his signing for next season.

Gerard Valentín (913 minutes at Segunda). He had only played 13 minutes with Depor in the first part of the season, so he wanted to leave during the winter window and was loaned to CD Lugo, he immediately jumped into the starting eleven and had 900 minutes giving a solid performance at the right side of the defence, but curiously CD Lugo were only able to win one of the thirteen games in which he showed up, and it was the game in which he scored a goal: 4-2 Vs. UD Almeria (May 5).

Francis Uzoho (630 minutes at Segunda, 113 minutes in Cyta Championship). Bizarre season for the Nigerian keeper. He pushed to leave as there was no room for him at the first team, and was loaned at Elche CF. He managed to make seven appearances ad had an acceptable performance, but coach Pacheta wanted experience for the role of goalkeeper and Edgard Badía was loaned in, without chances he decided to leave and the young keeper was loaned to Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus, and he was involved in an scandal as that club was finned and suffered a 6-point deduction for irregularities, including false documents presented in the deadline-day inscription of Francis. The keeper was suspended and only managed to play 113 minutes in the relegation playoff of a team that was aspiring to win the title.
