Major facelift at Fabril, the relegation to Segunda B is pushing the major part of the players out of the team. Only Gandoy and Víctor García will continue for the new season.

It’s normal to have many changes at a B team passing from one season to the next one and Fabril have never been the exception, but in this opportunity the changes are practically total. A new relegation to Tercera is pushing the club to change the entire team, to the point that only two players from last season are staying: midfielder Iago Gandy and winger Víctor García

The rest were released or were ending contract, and the list of names includes Bicho, a player in which there were many hopes, but that ended lost between injuries and a short stage at Barcelona B. And also Jonny Montiel, the best player of past season that returns to Rayo Vallecano as the club won’t pay his buyout clause.

Other players that left the club are Álex Cobo, Steve One, Uxio Dapena, Lucas Viña, Pedro López, Raúl González, Abeledo, Carlos López, Leto, Gaizka Martínez, Segado, Juanje, Javi Cobo, Carrión and Guillermo May.

The plan is to cover the spots with some signings, like the case of Aarón Sánchez, but specially with players coming from the Juvenil A team. Right-back Jorge Valin and centre-back Mujaid ended last season playing at Fabril, and for the new campaign they will be promoted on a permanent basis.

It’s also expected the return of the players that performed for Laracha CF on last season: Iago Parga, Kanouté, Iago Novo, Álex Boedo, Adrián Castro and Manu Mosquera, while the club must also decide what to do with the players returning from loan spells: Joel (Racing Ferrol), Sergio Ortuño (Eldense), Pedro Martelo (Sporting Braga B) and Villares (Racing Vilalbés).
