Two teams have won the three matches played so far, one of them was recently promoted Fuenlabrada CF. CD Numancia won, therefore all the teams have already added points.

Matchday 03 was clearly dominated by the home teams with the locals winning 7 of the 11 games disputed during the weekend. Only two teams have won everything so far, one of them is recently promoted Fuenlabrada CF, side that defeated Real Oviedo with a late goal from Anderson (2-1). It’s the first time in almost 60 years that a debutant in the league have won the first three games.

The other side that has won the first three matches is Cádiz CF. The Andalusians also needed a late goal in order to beat Extremadura UD (2-1); actually, the goal from Garrido came in the stoppage time (90+4’)

Apart from the leaders, other four teams remain undefeated, but only two of them are currently in the promotion zone: UD Almería and Real Zaragoza. The Andalusians seem to be a strong candidate for the first places and in this matchday they beat SD Huesca (1-0), while the Aragonians did the same with Elche CF (1-0).

Rayo Vallecano is another team that remain undefeated, after starting the league with two draws they now beat Deportivo (3-1); it’s the same scenario of Sporting Gijón, side that started the tournament with two draws and that now achieved the first win hosting Albacete Balompié (2-0).

CD Numancia defeated CD Mirandés (2-0) and therefore all the teams in the league have already added points. Six teams remain without wins, one of them is CD Mirandés and the others are UD Las Palmas, Racing Club, Real Oviedo, Extremadura UD and CD Lugo.

Precisely, UD Las Palmas and Racing Club collided this weekend and the result was 2-2, with Rubén Castro scoring for the Canarians at minute 89 and with the Cantabrians tying the match in the added time. Meanwhile, CD Lugo was surprised at home by AD Alcorcón (2-4).

The big score of the matchday was the 4-0 victory of SD Ponferradina over CD Tenerife with a brace by Yuri de Souza. The matchday was closed with the 1-0 win of Girona FC over Málaga CF.
