Anquela is under pressure and is forced to make changes due to the casualties hitting his team; neither the rival had a positive start in the league.

Atypical week for Deportivo; first the summer market closed its doors on Monday with the Galician outfit signing 5 new players, almost the fourth part of the squad that will face the first part of the season. Four of the five new signings joined the trainings on Tuesday: Saša Jovanovic, Salva Ruiz, Victor Mollejo and Beto da Silva

The signing that’s pending to arrive is Víctor Mollejo, the winger was concentrated with U-19 Spain, but will be released and should arrive on Friday. The week was also atypical as the team faced a midweek friendly facing Racing de Ferrol, the result was 1-1 with four of the five new players having minutes, including Beto da Silva, who scored the goal for Deportivo.

Now coach Juan Antonio Anquela is having the pressure, because his team needs to convince after losing two of the first three games in liga, the team returns to the Riazor in order to face Albacete Balompié (Saturday, 16h00 CET).

And Anquela continues to have problems due to injuries; Peru Nolaskoain (appendicitis) and Michel Somma (knee sprain) continue evolving, while there are two cases coming from the game at Rayo Vallecano, Samuele Longo suffered a thigh problem before the kick-off and the Italian attacker has trained apart this week, then Borja Valle suffered a toe knock and neither trained with the group during the week.

There’s also the casualty of Gaku Shibasaki, who is concentrated with Japan national team. If Valle and Longo aren’t ready on time, then the coach will only have 17 players available. It means that Anquela needs to make changes, the first one should be the introduction of Victor Mollejo, who should be playing alongside Lampropoulos at the centre of the defence.

Albacete Balompié is living a similar scenario than Depor. Both clubs arrive disappointed after failing in last season’s playoffs, and both teams had a disappointing start after only adding three points in three games. The main concern for Los Albinegros is the fact that they have only scored once, and it was an own goal facing Girona FC.

The media and the fans were expecting movements on deadline day, but coach Luis Miguel Ramis didn’t get the offensive reinforcements that he was expecting, instead they only signed midfielder Leonardo Capezzi.

For the game at the Riazor, Ramis is having an important casualty as attacker Rei Manaj is concentrated with Albania. But he will count with midfielder Eddy Silvestre, who missed the last game with Sporting Gijon due to muscle problems, at the same time the coach loses Pedro Sánchez, who is ineligible to play the game due to the stipulations on his transfer from Deportivo.
