First home defeat for Fabril, the lads had a good first half, but the defensive distractions never allowed them to have a comfortable advantage and everything was lost in a grey second half.

Coach Luisito made changes in defence, which included the debut of Viorel Boian at the goal. Ukrainian Yevhen Pidlepenets was still waiting for a working permission, while Javi Sánchez and David Sánchez were out injured.

Fabril lost at home for the first time on the season. The lads had a good first half, creating chances to score and scoring twice, but each time they scored, CD Barco replied with a quick goal to level the score and seizing the defensive distractions. In the second half, Barco scored in a great counterattack and the locals never knew how to react.

The start of the game was boring, without chances to score and with both sides exchanging the ball possession. But everything chanced at the middle of the first part with two consecutive goals. Fabril scored first, Martí Vilà started the play on the left, he assisted Pedro Correia and the cross of the Portuguese attacker was met by Aarón Sánchez to score from close range.

But the advantage didn’t last too much longer, because CD Barco tied the actions in a lateral free-kick. Debutant Viorel made a terrible mistake and the header of Javi Rodríguez ended in a loose ball at the goal line, and Juanito Bazo was there to push the ball in.

This was the first goal allowed by Fabril playing at Abegondo. Then the locals found the second goal in a direct free-kick of Iago Parga, but CD Barco found again a quick equalizer, and it was in the same way as Iñigo Pison scored in a direct free-kick, this time drilling the ball between the defenders at the wall.

The start of the second half was equal, and since Fabril weren’t creating chances, Luisito ordered the first substitution and Iago Novo replaced Kanouté. The first chance to score in the half was a lateral free-kick of Villarres that Aarón Sánchez headed on target and visiting goalie Iván Oviedo cleared the ball over the crossbar (58’). In the counterattack Marcos Jimeno had a chance to score, but his shot was blocked by Iago Parga.

And CD Barco were going to claim the advantage for the first time in the game, it was a counterattack in which the cross of Pison was met by Juanito Bazo, then the striker dribbled Mujaid and scored firing from close range.

The second substitution at Fabril was the entry of Jawed Boumeddane for Víctor Eimil. The third change was made after Iago Parga picked a muscle problem, he was replaced by Bourdal.

Fabril lost the ideas after the third goal, despite the changes, Luisito’s team didn’t react and CD Barco were closer to score the fourth goal. Iván Vales ‘Ivi’ was close to score in a direct free-kick attempt with the ball going out close to the crossbar (76’). Boumeddane had the only Fabril’s chance in this frame of the game after heading out a corner-kick (80’). CD Barco ended the game with ten players after Ivi Vales was sent off with a direct red card for a harsh foul at the left wing (90+2’).
